you can always get a gun and hold it to some rich persons head and make them sponsor you... (how you're gonna deal with the cops is up to you)

We'd all like to know buddy!

Trying to get sponsors is just a hard process, but if you're worth sponsoring then someone WILL notice you. One day!

I was work for the bike parts manufacture in past nearly 14 years in Taiwan, the factory actually sponser some body if you are a firmly exercise team whether win a pride or not.

But they sponsored only their new R&D parts or regular parts for life testing or real performance feedback from user or the racer.

Of Cos if you got a metal will be much easier get sponsor or even more a real found supply. But usually they can aford only the parts they are making. What's the dual sides benefits is: You get the most brand new good parts and they get some real using feedback information.

Organize a regualr pratice team and join some race, make the photo record or get the exposed in public message. Bring these record to the show, such as Interbike or national show. Finding a firmly parts company or even a whold bike assemblier, propose your train schedule and metals. Ususally it will be worked for a firmly parts sponsor.

just make a two to three minute tape, and send it to some companies if you really think your good enough. go to some contests, and don't bug the pro for hookups and stuff like that.

1. Go to contests.
2. Win

If you don't win, at least be noticed. If you aren't competing near the top of the expert class, or even IN the expert class, then what do you have to offer anyone? I mean, you may be able to get a local shop to sponsor you if you put a tape together and put a resume together and list what you have to offer them.

What DO you have to offer a local shop?

Support? Do you know enough people locally that can go to the shop through your advice? How about shows? Are you willing to do a few free shows for them in return for them giving you a discount or some free stuff? What do YOU want?

The top pros have sponsors for one main reason...
THEY ARE THE TOP PROS!

If you are a beginner, then ask again in five or ten years.

If you played basketball would you be looking for someone to flow you product and sponsor you after you played for one or two years? Of course not! Why do you think bike riding would be easier?
