I want to download, er buy some good music to provide some much needed help to my spinning instructors for their classes... they're playing the same music over and again. any help with a spinning website or cool tracks you've discovered would be greatly appreciated. :p

there's a great song by Turin Brakes called "painkiller' that's pretty upbeat. I don't know BPM or anything like that, but it's one of my favorite tunes to ride to.

when i weight train i load operation ivy, sublime, rancid and offspring into my media player and randomize songs. sometime when a sublime songs enters the queue, i wanna throw down the weights and fire up a blunt, but before long a rancid tune is on and has me fired back up.

Spinning class - just ride a fixie on the street! Then you have scenery.

Sorry...

Been wanting to say that for awhile now...

Santana's greatest hits might work for me but otherwise I think a thread like this should be started in the over 50 forum. I really like the old stuff, Bob Segar-John Cougar-REO-Billy Joel-Henry Gross.

The following list should only be used at your own risk......you'll be jammin and riding hard!

Enigma - Club Mix
AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Deep Purple - Highway Star

Wouldn't really work in spin classes but on the trainer I listen to books on tape rented from my local library. I love a good book and sometimes when I'm at a good part in the book I will stay another 5 minutes on the trainer.

A couple of my faves...

'Tricky' by Run DMC,
'It's My Life' by Bon Jovi
'I'm Just a Girl' by No Doubt

Whatever you do, don't use "Celllll-a-brate good times, c'mon!' That would be bad.

i think you should vary equally between

1. tricky
2. any KMFDM CD
3. Bela Fleck
4. Mother (Danzig)

(OK, the last one isn't much of a spinning tune....)
