im taking advice from this board on my first clip less pedals and im going with the chrome mollys and putting that extra cash into better shoes. They seem like a fine choice for my first clipless on my new cervelo r3.im not a racer im not lance armstrong and the titanium's are just overkill. One thing i have learned quickly is ask this board for advice and you get great feedback.this time tomorrow ill have completed my first clip less ride and hopefully ill live to talk about it.Shoe wise ill just try a whole bunch on and go for comfort

Smart move, good to hear you see the light now. I think I saw you had a fit already, if he guy who did your fit does cleat placement also, ask him for recs for shoes. If he didn't do anything with your shoes or talk to you about shoe sizing, go find a fitter that does and ask for advice on shoes. Anyway, good job, you will appreciate swapping out the titanium for the cro-moly.

got them today first ride ever with a clipless too and it went perfectly bought sidi shoes dropped 250.00 on them they feel great with lots of adjustable points on the shoes.felt as good as sneakers on a 2 hour ride.im now in the poor house by the way, but i just dont care
Good choice. I used Speedplay's for several years, but recently changed to Look's because I have a painful foot condition that is mediated by the wide platform provided by the Look's.
But I really miss the Speedplays. They have a nice crisp snap-in, and they have no top and bottom -- they can be snapped in from both sides.
