Foo - IE9 - poor user interface

I can't stand the tiny refresh button that comes with IE9. Does anyone know how to increase the size of this button? Occasionally I use F5 to refresh, but I prefer the button ... assuming I can find it :rolleyes:

Not sure if it still works in IE9 but can you right click in the tool bar area and select "Show Large Icons"?

I've been using it a few days now. I'm not finding the refresh button all that objectionable but I guess I use F5 about as often as the button too.

I hate the whole IE9 interface. They have gone to more of a Mac interface with no real menu (or I did not know how to enable it). I like the traditional menu. Seems a lot of MS apps seem to be going that way along with the horrible new help system.

Just right-click at the top of your screen and choose menu bar.

I've been trying to "get with the times" (is that what the kids say?) and use the default interface for MS Office but it doesn't always go smoothly

Browser-wise, if the main goal of a web browser is to deliver eyeballs to ads, I don't think I'm going there too quickly

You can also just tap the ALT key for the same result, albeit temporarily. All in all, I kind of like the new interface being cleaner/less cluttered. It gives me more screen for what I want to see without filling up so much of the screen with menus, etc.

I doubt it. The user interface looks almost identical to IE9. The refresh button is about 3/16"x 3/16"on my 17 inch laptop screen (1600 x 900 resolution). I want a bigger button.

The button is plenty big enough for me and I have a 15.4" laptop. Opening both, the FF one is slightly bigger.

When you're 45 years old, you'll likely be complaining about MS messing with your old holograph interface.

Is this the second IE9 thread in a week? Wow.

I haven't used IE 9 yet, but may upgrade the Terminal Services server at work soon, both to IE9 and FF4.

Personally I'm a fan of the more stripped down user interfaces in modern browsers. I hate having stacks upon stacks of toolbars on my screen that just sit there doing nothing most of the time. The more screen real estate, the better.

The more screen real estate, the better.Yep, and Chrome is probably the winner in the minimalist department, yet it also has the largest text box for the URL/search field- and the refresh icon looks to be the largest among IE9, FF4, Chrome 10, and Opera 11.1.
