Morning Foosters. Woke up this AM, opened the freezer and suffered the sin of pride.
You see, of late, our ice maker has been overfilling and I have found rivulets of ice running down the interior walls, making a crystalline mess of our frozen comestibles.
So, since I made the mistake of having two large glasses of tea at dinner and was unable to sleep, I fired up the google and found the most likely cause for offending effluence and proceeded to address the issue.
Removed the unit, opened up the motor cover and cleaned the brass place on the back of the drive gear that various contact arms used to control time of the various functions of the unit. Buttoned it back up and reinstalled it and waited to hear it go through a fill cycle.
This AM, the ice bucket is full and there is not a bit of ice to be found on the maker or the walls.
Henceforth, I shall refer to our refridgerator freezer as The ol' Norge and my wife as Mrs. Lupner.
