went for a 2 hour ride with my new bike and new shoes and clipless pedals.Thought the clipless pedals were gonna take some time but it was so easy and i had no issues.Iwent with speedplay chrome mollys.I went all out with the shoes buying 250.00 sidis that feel great.Bile shop did a great job adjusting my float too.Im set up right now and the power i had was unreal .
cool. i had speedplays as well for my first pair and unlike what most people say, i have never fallen on my bike. in fact (yes i know i'm probably jinxing it now), i haven't had a fall on my bike in about 30 years (since i was a kid).

I've got that beat. I was on a long, long motorcycle ride on my little Harley Sportster from Central Colorado to here in SoCal. I'd spent most of the day on Interstate 50 (which is a long, boring straight road through the Road Runner cartoon background that just goes forfreakinever) and I stopped in St. George, Utah for gas & dinner. I pulled up to a stoplight next to a VW Cabriolet convertible with 3 SUU coeds, and I'd been on the interstate so long, I'd forgotten to put my foot down!--I came to a stop and just toppled over. One of the girls got out of the car and offered to help, but the profound humiliation gave me the strength of 10 men and I promptly yanked up the fully loaded bike and rode away, my face burning with shame.
Excellent choice on your first shoes. Sidi's are pimp. (You didn't scuff them when you fell over, did you?)

Nice, i recently put some Shimano 105 pedals on mine, practiced in the garage for a bit then proceeded outside and fell off straight away. Luckily nobody was around to see. Been good since then.
