Hi,
About to embark on a new build for a commuter on a Kona Sutra frame. Rear spacing is 135mm, and I've found a set of wheels built on 36h XT hubs and Mavic A719 rims. After talking to a bunch of people, I've decided to go with a road drivetrain. So the question is, can I put an 10sp ultegra 6600 cassette on an XT hub? I've seen that XT hubs say 7-8-9, but I've never seen 10, and I've never seen XT hub compatibility with road cassette written anywhere.
The reason that I am asking is that 5600 105 and 6600 Ultegra parts are readily available and relatively inexpensive at the moment, and I have a couple of new 6600 cassettes lying around.
Thanks for taking my newbie question seriously.
