Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

That's a break? You got plenty of time before PBP to heal. In the mean time get a cast and some aerobars or learn to ride like this:

It's spelled out in the PBP thread. Just get the number from RUSA's website for your longest ride, a credit card, and go to the PBP site. It's easy, slacker!

I finally preregistered. I was thinking I would just preregister and drop out if I decided it was a bad idea, but my family wants to go so they are going to kill me if I don't ride

I have booked a hotelroom and preregistered for the 80-hour start.Hope i can put in enough training miles to make it a good experience (and better weather than in 2007).
