Track Cycling: Velodrome Racing and Training Area - New to Forum

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi New From NY. Well I am not so new, call me Pop. I rode back in the 60's, mostly track. I am know searching for a midget track bike for my Grandson. Some know what a midget track bike is and some do not. No different than a full size track bike but the proportions are smaller and the frame is made to use 24" wheels. If anyone kn ows of one, I would appreciate the info. Thanks Pop

Hi to everyone, I was not sure how the forum works. I was contacted and told I have 3 reponses. I guess I will answer all at once. I have not done any riding , in many years. I had stayed with the sport for a number of years, while working with midget track riders, at Kissena track. For myself my heart just was not in it any longer. I guess that can happen when you climb to the top and then , for reasons beyond your control, you fail. I am only looking for a midget trtack for my Grandson, for myself I still have my equipment I rode . I have ,two, a track and a road Ephgrave. I also have a quite large set of rollers that were made for me in 1961. Thanks for the responces, Pop
