howdy cyclists,

I have some forks that are jizzing oil out and need the seals changing.

I am up for trying it myself but cant get hold of a guide / manual (I want a step by step with pics really as I have never tried servicing forks before) Is there anywhere online that anyone knows of for this kind of stuff? I have tried searching forums and the Marzocchi website (they are old school bomber 2001-Z1 drop off's)

I can get the seals myself.

Awesome thanks dave. Tried google with no luck.
Dont know if you know anything about servicing forks but the only bit i am confused about in the guide is when refilling the forks with oil, should the be compressed or extended? pictures seem to suggest compressed, but then when does the extension happen back to the normal position?

Cheers

I personally have never rebuilt forks. But it dose show in the diagram that they are compressed for the oil refill. they will extend when you install your preload spring. The oil absorbs the impact and your spring brings your forks up after.
