Hello All,
First thanks for your time. I have a Cannondale Adventure hybrid model. I am desperately looking for a rear rack that sits back a little because the Cannondale's seat is a little beefy and would interfere with my trunk/bag on the back of the rack. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

IslandWayne, Blackburn racks are a good choice, longer, often called mountain bike brackets are also available.

Thanks Brad. I looked at their racks and unfortunately the main rod which attaches by the rear wheel places the rack too close to the seat. Has anyone had any experience with the Axiom Journey Adjustable 2429? It appears like that rack is designed to set further back. ???

There's really not much you can do about that.

You can get a rack that setsback, for example disc compatible ones but they do not hold a lot of weight - who cares about the top trunk bag anyways? You have two sides for really large panniers at that point.
