My mom uses microsoft word and needs help. I try to avoid microsoft products as much as possible and use iWork instead. anyone know how to do the stuff below? I think it's fairly basic, but I was unable to get any answers on this microsoft help site/forum.
1) How do you take items off the toolbar that you don't want? There are a ton of options on the toolbar that my mom never uses. She'd like to get it down to a small subset of things she actually uses.
2) Is there a way to select your top X favorite fonts so that when you select the font drop down menu, you always see the same X number of fonts regardless of whether you have actually used them in that document yet?
3) In the font menu mentioned above, when opened it lists a certain number of fonts under "heading" and "body" font. My mother doesn't recall actually selecting these fonts. Is there a way to set up a template so that the heading and body fonts are always a particular one? I tried looking up styles and themes and couldn't find a way to force the heading to be a particular font type.
please help save my mom some gray hairs!!! :)
