The Valley Spokesmen annual Cinderella ride is this Saturday. I'll be at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds start with my stand and tools, working with the Dublin Cyclery folks to get bikes checked, adjusted, or repaired prior to hitting the road. Should be fun.

If you're there and you have time, stop by and say "hi".

Ask them how come they don't do Hekaton again.

I'll stop by and say "hi"! I'll be there with two friends, the Squidettes, and we'll be easy to spot!

I'll be easy to spot, too. I'll be the big handsome one, standing next to the bigger gargoyle looking one. :D

Ask them how come they don't do Hekaton again.

Too much marginal crap for not enough marginal gain, from what I heard. But yeah, I loved the Hekaton. Well, except for the headwind slog the last 15 miles or so. But other than that, it was just about perfect.

Is the actual ride on Sunday? I just want to make sure that the swap meet is as well...

Ride on Saturday, swap meet on Sunday. That's how they get rid of all the extra food that's left over.

How is Cinderella enough gain (or insufficient crap) but Hekaton isn't (or is?) It's been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time... bring it back Valley Spokespeople !!! The Moderate 100 was one of the best centuries in NorCal... Palomares Road alone was almost worth the reg fee.

Also... Cherry City Cyclists ought to bring back the Cherry City Century. Come on you guys - step up!

I missed ya! I was running around like chicken with my head cut off before the start! I did stop your booth after the ride, but you had left already - I passed on a "hello"!

GREAT ride!
