Finally upgraded from the heavy MTB to a carbon road bike. MTB weighs in at 35lbs, this one hit the scale at 16.99lbs with cages and pedals.

I like the look of the carbon weave.

Its customary here to give your old ride to the #3 poster. Oh wait, that's me.

Nice pics, that's a great looking bike. Now go out and enjoy.

Nice looking bike but you need to provide a photo of the other side so we can see the drive train. There never is enough bike porn

I'm guessing his ride report will say he felt no difference between the mountain bike and this one.

Right. ;)

Maybe he is still out riding, liked it so much he decided to keep on pedaling!

The ride difference is amazing!

As far as comfort, I was really worried. Coming from a MTB to my first bike, I was worried that I would be miserable. Honestly, I feel no difference. My MTB was set up a little bit on the "agressive" style. I feel very comfortable on this bike.

One thing is for sure - when I push down on the pedal, this thing ACCELERATES! I have noticed that there is a lot of power loss in my aluminum framed mtb compared to this carbon framed bike. Virtually no flex in this one and it more power is transferred to the rear wheel.

Also, the ultegra groupo is AMAZING! Fast, crisp shifting is very nice.

Gonna do some longer rides this weekend and I will report back.

Does anyone but me have the problem with Orbea that when you see one of their bikes you immediately start to tent?

I think I am in love with that bike...........

i think that might be the nicest looking bike i've ever seen. i love the matte black paint, cannondale uses it quite a bit but everything about that bike just looks fast and sexy. How much was it if you don't mind me asking?
