Touring - Tubus: Cargo vs. Logo

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

To be used on a mostly off-road tour.
I'll take any and all opinions/suggestions/reviews/advice.
Thanks

They both fit the same, the Logo has additional rails for the panniers so there is more room on the top of the rack to stack stuff, but the Cargo is correspondingly lighter. Both mount the Tubus rear light. Not much difference, actually.

I have both and as stated, they are both very good racks. The only thing I might add is that I can tow a BOB trailer with the Cargo on the bike but not with the Logo. The Logo bottom rails prevent me from getting the fork of the BOB onto the axle mount.
I went with the Logo as it doesn't have that bendy bit (this is a bicycle rack technical term!) so you can stuff eh stuff further under the saddle...

have had both and prefer the Cargo. Larger platform, Lighter and easier to clip my Ortliebs onto the top rail than lining up the clips on the lower rails... It's picking nits but after taking my panniers off a ton of times the little things do matter to me.
Never had a need to stack stuff on top of the Logo but... it's tiny compared to the cargo. It's easier to strap stuff to the top of the Cargo.

Yes, picking nits for sure. But isn't that what we relish doing in these threads?
But since the Logo mounts the panniers lower, it gives one the top of the panniers and the rack to stack stuff. This is not an advantage if one needs access to top-loading panniers. Also, for sure the pannier fasteners are more difficult to reach with the Logo. I've had both and ended up returning the Cargo, but frankly in retrospect, I would be happy with either one.
