Morning all.
I am about to purchase a Whyte Caledonian (http://www.whytebikes.com/2011/bike_page.php?ModNo=W-0-017-11) for myself and would like to buy my girlfriend a bike that complements this. She is fairly new to cycling (as am I although I used to cycle a lot around 10 years ago) and is very nervous about cycling on road. It looks like we will spend most of our time on cycle paths; tow paths, gentle mountain trails, gravel paths etc. basically keep her away from traffic. We wont be doing any "proper" mountain biking.
I would happily get her a whyte Malvern if I could afford it but I simply can't. My budget is around £200 could stretch a little for something that was ideal. My only real requirement is that it isn't too heavy and if it has front sus, it needs to be lockable.
Any ideas….?
