Hi all,
I've been following a small work shop in Mexico city that started selling Bamboo fixies, basically the guy took a workshop in France on bamboo and upon returning to Mexico wanted to buy a bike; so he said what the hell and built one himself with the knowledge gained at the workshop.
The bike:

Naturally, I've found it very very interesting but I was put off by the initial price until after contacting them via FB I was informed there was a cheaper version coming out, one I could afford. The guy invited me over to the shop to test ride it and everything, seems pretty nice.

I'd like to state I'm in no way affiliated with this, I've actually thought they were ridiculous at first because of the pricing but I guess they're realizing now that they are working in a third world country and steep prices aren't gonna work out too well. The thing is, I don't live in Mexico city but I could go I guess it's kinda near. The one thing that puts me off is the geometry, what's up with the sloping seat tube? I imagine toe overlap is gonna be a PITA.

So, what do you think? Would you buy it/ride it? I thought the "eco" aspect is just bad ass. "hey dude what are you riding?! freaking bamboo?" yeah!!
