So does something like this exist? A combo SPD SL and SPD bike pedal so you can use either type of clip on it? i.e. so I can change shoes rather than bike. I have an spd/plain pedal combo right now. I really want one that has the two different clips on either side of the pedal..does it exist? If Not, I need someone to help me design create and sell because I want one.

Yes, what you are looking for exists. I had a pair that I let get away in a deal about 4 years ago. They were red, had a schwinn logo on them and came with adapters that snapped into the Look side cleat to have a strap (for tennis shoes). I stumbled on what they were off of one day: Indoor cycling machine aka a Spin Class bike.
