My intro:
Thinking back on the first time I ever hopped on a bike would have to be my sister's 10-speed back in 89' or so (I am yet a young one). Once she took it back I pulled the fenders from my dad's bike and started riding it around! The beating from that left me standing in class the next week, but it was a good start. After that I picked up a beach cruiser for ASU, and once it became apparent that riding 50+lbs of steel around campus was leading to the sweaty shirts, I upgraded to a road bike. It started out as a flat bar bike, which has now been upgraded to bullhorns and road shifters on the tips of the horns (not sure if others have tried it). I usually get in around 22.5 mi a day 4 days a week... and that's just about all. Married two kids etc.
