IRC Sirens or Maxxis Holy Rollers

is it typically better to get tires with a high psi maximum or a mid (like 110 High, 65 Mid... thats probably low)
lol?

no not always it depends on the weather condition and also what track your riding but if its a dry, rock free track get tires with a high psi and less grip @ least in the back and its its a muddy day u want tires that have a lower psi because those are the ones that usualy have more grip. o and 110 is a lil bit to high i think more like 95 or 100 is the highest for bmx racing tires

Holy crap. 110 PSI in a tire?? Wow, its like the exact opposite with DH MTB racing. Sorry but 110 seems crazy.

I ride 110 front (S&M Mainline) and back (Revenge Industries). I used to run 130 back when I ran the Snafu Rimjobs front and back.

I always raced on Tioga Comp IIIs almost exclusively but a good semi slick rear tire for hard packed tracks is always good. As far as tire pressure goes like racergrl said, dry day higher pressure, wet day lower pressure (most I ever ran was about 70 on a dry day and 45 on a muddy day but I was smoother than butter back in those days.)

Yeah, I usually run about 60-70 in my Sirens. Basically just read the PSI rating on the sidewall of the tire. On dry hard days, run em to the max. If it is a little soft, you shouldn't be on the track anyways.

comp X by tioga are good on all types of track surfaces. they have made tires for a long time and this is the newest style.
