Ok here's another .... I have standard road Bike bars and never use the the lower bars ... What would (if any) advantage to install bull horns instead?

It's personal preference really. Go with what is comfortable for you. But if you're never using the drops, a couple things could be going on.

1. Your riding style is more relaxed, and getting in the drops to go fast isn't part of that.
2. Your bars are positioned too low or too far forward, making it uncomfortable to use the drops.

Fastjake... Thanks .... I'm thinking more like #2... I can see how they would provide leverage and help my body position but think my set up may not be correct. Is there a fit guide that perhaps I should reference to help tweak? I've been playing with both seat height and seat position on post and perhaps screwed something up then.

A major disadvantage will be trying to figure out how to mount the brake levers and shifters.

Google the Lemond fit system to get the info you need, or his book.
