Any good Mtb trails Danville or 680 corridor that don't involve a 900' climb to start?

Those climbs will only make you stronger - when I started mountain biking, I started on a single speed and spent a couple months just riding up this hill near my house. The first month I really never made it to the top without stopping. Eventually, I got in a groove and made it happen. Now that friggin' monster is kind of an afterthought.

Just sayin.

Briones Regional Park has some good trails. Large variety of climbs, some long and mellow, some short and steep.
