Bicycle Mechanics - Which Kool Stop or Swiss Stop pads fit Tiagra brakes?

I did try the website and I couldn't find the information I'm looking for.
I can't call them because I am at work (and in Canada). Their dealer locator says "Coming Soon".
Believe me, I wouldn't have posted if I could have found the info I'm looking for.

Ones that look like the original ones.. held on with a bolt . road bike brake ?

I put the Continental on my sidepull brakes, stud/holder molded in the brake pad ,
nut holds it on.
they include a NyLock nut, good choice. over plain nut.

Look like? Is taht how I'm supposed to replace parts on my bike? With parts that "look like" the original?
And continental pads look nothing like the original pads from Tiagra.
Here is the description for Continental pads:
"The Continental is our classic conventional design, for use on older bicycles or brake systems with clearance problems."
Hopefully someone who has Tiagra breaks upgraded their pads and can help me.

I did read all of those links already because I did Google before posting but none of them has a definitive answer to as which pads will fit Tiagra brakes.

$82.00?!? If you're not obsessive about the minuscule weight of your pad holders, these will work just as well:

The Dura2 pads will fit in any Shimano-style brake holder. If your Tiagra pads are one piece, with no way to remove the old pad, you need new holders as in the set posted, otherwise you can just get Dura2 inserts.

I just noticed that after posting. Those cannot be the same ones since I paid around $20. At the risk of drawing the Ire of the OP. Those "looked" like the ones I bought which are simply road brake pads from Koolstop with dual compounds (Black/Salmon).

Then good luck, because IIRC tiagra brakes don't come with holders by default. And you will definitley spend more than $20 for holders + good pads. Even at cost.

the pads are around $12.50 per pair in toronto.

there's no point getting the dual compound pad, but the koolstop pads that come with the holders have that as part of the package as well as having the salmon only pads.

I just ordered two set of the Dura Ace holders and pads from my LBS. They've given me some few smaller freebie bits and pieces in the past so I like to give them business when I can afford to. They will be used in my 2010 model Tiagra brakes.

I am going to try out the Dura Ace pads at first and see how they hold up on the longer mountain descents. If not happy then I'll pull the inserts and change them out.

But even the free inserts Williams Wheels sent me with my System 30 wheel order are working really well so far on my backup bike so I think the Dura Ace pads will serve my needs. I'll report back after the first use as well as describe how the install of the pad holders themselves go.
