New to track racing and just got a TK2. I would like to fit a brake so I can familiarize myself with the bike on the road, I'm not going to commute on it. What is a suitable calliper and lever for a track bike on the road?

You may just have to stop in a shop and see if "short reach" or "long reach" calipers are required. The lever depends on what bars you have. I know that Nitto B123s will take normal modern road bike brake levers. But, you can only activate the lever from the drop position, not from the hoods because the slope of the bars is so steep.
