Some of the best acting I have ever seen. And the special effects just don't get any better than this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiP6W0ZCQRg

You know that when you have Caucasian actresses being passed off as native pacific island girls, you're in for a treat.
I could swear that the one who gets tossed in the quicksand was on several late episodes of the Three Stooges.

Ever see "The Alligator People?" Beverly Garland was in a bunch of these for two reasons: She was hot, and she could scream. Man, talk about lung capacity....

Oh yes indeed. But, MST3K is not where I have seen most of these. No, I saw some of them on a very old, local TV program that ran in Boston in the early 60s. It was called "Fantasmic Features". Early 60s TV had lots of local programs like this. They got the 50s B movies because they could, and they were cheap to get. Fantasmic Features was on in the early evening hours,
so us kiddies could watch it on the black and white, tubes-in-the-back, sets.

But, for this posting, How about The Talking Dog (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGeKSiCQkPw) that is so popular? Anyone who has ever lived with a dog will get this.

Okay, back to B movies.

How about The Arm ripping-off scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEiRAIhQ14o) from "The Brain that Wouldn't Die"?

Even the worst movies usually have that one scene that does make people recoil just a little.

D'Oh! If you want, you can watch that entire movie for free on Youtube or Hulu. It's actually worth watching, because it's just so silly. The monster in the closet is another of the good doctor's
failures. Basically, a really big stunt dude, wearing pajamas and a mask that looks as though it might have been purchased from a halloween store. This used to be a late night staple during the month of October, on UHF TV stations in the Boston area. Back then, they really were independently owned and managed, not all corporate as they are now.
