Hey all,

I've got a set of Campy Victory road cranks sitting around at home and I was thinking of putting them on my old Jeunet track bike but I wanted to gauge opinions on here first.

Naturally, I would use the 52t chainring and just use washers or something to make up for the distance at the back of the crank arms.

The bike is already set up with a 3/32" ring cog and chain and I've liked it - but that's simply how it was sold to me, and I haven't changed anything yet. I figured I'd ask around before making the swap. Is it worth it to swap everything out for 1/8". I should note that this bike is used on the road, and does not spend time at the track.

Thanks!

Then you should post it here (http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php/178-Singlespeed-amp-Fixed-Gear?) This section is for track racing only. The ssfg forum is for fixed gears on the roads.

well alright. I'll do just that - although i'm sure track cyclists would have some opinions that would be valuable to me...

I hope no one was too upset by my erronius choice of posting locations.
