My ex-boyfriend built me this bike in 2008. Blah, blah, blah, fill in the blanks, now I want to sell it, but I literally have no idea what it might be worth.

This is all I can really provide as far as info:

It's a 1970s Concord, refurbished in 2008. Converted to a single speed, bearings all cleaned and greased, new tires, new tubes, new rear brake, new powder coating.

I don't really know the size, nor do I have a tape measure or any real idea how to measure it. I'm 5'2" and it's probably two or three inches too tall for me, if that is at all helpful.

Has: a dia-compe drop forged back brake, 27 1 1/4 tri sport tires, shimano selectra a-1 crank.

There's some rust and scratches, nothing severe, no crippling eye-sores. Rides great.

Any help/advice would be VERY appreciated. I don't even know where to start and I'd like to sell this and have some money to put towards a bike that doesn't have so many sour memories. :)

Thanks! Be gentle, I'm clueless! :)

He should be an "ex" if he built that for you. I'd say 100-150 tops. IMHO.

Kind of what I was expecting...I just want to exorcise this particular demon so I definitely am not planning on a windfall. :) Thank you for the reply, I do appreciate it!

Any guy who builds his woman a bike that doesn't fit can't be that special.

I agree on both counts.
