I did 30 yesterday starting at Fitzwater south past Penisula. It was not very crowded, which was nice, but man some sections are really showing the ravages of winter and the floods. Did 20 miles going North from Fitzwater and lots more families with kids -- about half were paying attention and half were not.
I believe the word for the weekend -- fun!

Looks like a fantastic ride! :)
Just got a little too close to the edge of the water for my taste a few times. I'm a risk averse soul.

I started in Cuyahoga Heights and rode to the Lizard in Peninsula yesterday...what a nice day. Today was also very nice as we didn't get the t storms that they were calling for. We probably passed each other yesterday.
Thanks Seadawg...it wasn't really that dangerous.

I see the towpath up that way is still pretty rutted. We rode a small stretch as part of our ride yesterday, between Clinton and Vanderhoof Rd...I was surprised how smooth it was for April.

There were a few rough patches on the path,. I was running 26x 2.0 tires so no real problems.
