Got a choice between a $400 new torker kickback 2, and a $350 used S.E. Lager that's been used for about 3-4 months.
The kickback looks cool as it does have two gears, and i live around a big hill so that would be pretty useful.
However, the kickback is made with hi-ten steel and "tri-moly" whatever that is, so it would be a bit heavier than the lager, which is all chromoly
Is there any significant difference in the other specs, or any reason that you would lean more towards one than the other?
Thanks!

if you're gonna get the lager used might as well pick up a clockwork or sst off bikesdirect.

I wanted to build a kickback wheelset, but velocity dropped my order on rims so i kinda stopped caring. the frame isn't hi-ten, just the fork. guessing tro-moly is advertising jargon for straight gauge 4130 (like the lager). if you live on a hill i'd recommend getting a front brake to supplement the coaster brake.

why's that? Just cause they're basically equivalent?
thanks
