Hi everyone. I am unloading my Motobecane Record road bike and searching for something a bit more friendly for the commute. I found the bike above at my local bike shop for $499, they claim to normally sell it for $799, and I believe the MSRP is about $820. Seems like a good deal, but I was wondering if anybody out there rides this. I will primarily be using this for commuting about 4 miles each way. I cross-posted this in the commuting forum, but would love anybody's feedback on whether this bike is a good choice for city riding/commuting. Also, they sell it in a flat bar and also drop bar. I assume the flat bar would be more conducive to commuting, right? As you can tell, I am a newbie. Thanks for your comments.
