Hi all I'm from Wilmington, NC. I ride an old 1984 Panasonic Sport 500 that I converted to a fixed gear about 2 years ago. I've rebuilt this bike almost 5 times now and I think I've finally found the look I always wanted for it.
I have Soma Major Taylors that i cut 4 inches off of the drop downs and turned back in toward the saddle so that they turn down parallel to the forks. I got white Origin 8 grips, a white Origin 8 seat, and a silver 48t 170mm Origin 8 crankset. I rock a 14t Sungino cog on the back and a white chain.
At the moment the frame is white and I'm rolling on green EighthInch Amelias but within the next 2 weeks the frame is being professionally sand blasted and painted bright candy purple and the molding around the welds is being painted white.
Also i will be ordering anodized green Stars 51mm deep v wheels. They have green spokes and green sealed bearing hubs. The rear hub is also a fixed/free flip flop hub.
I can't wait to finally get this thing done and start riding!!! Final gear ratio will be 48/15
