Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - 2010 Cinelli Mash vs. 2011

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I am looking at buying a Mash frameset, the 2011 is $75 more than the 2010.
In my size (55cm or "large") these are the respective geometries:
2010
ST c-t: 590
Effective tt: 550
chain stay: 392
BB drop: 58
Fork offset: 35
ht angle: 74
st angle: 75.5
wheel base: 973
ht length: 136
2011
ST c-t: 590
Effective tt: 550
chain stay: 388
BB drop: 51
Fork offset: 35
ht angle: 75
st angle: 75
wheel base: 962
ht length: 135
I was wondering if you experts (ie Carelton ;) ) had any opinion on this. It seems to me that these differences are all incredibly small, would there be much of a difference in how the two bikes feel?
Also, any opinions aesthetically? Not sure how I feel about the matte paint on the 2011 vs the standard grey.
Oh and yeah MASH sucks and I'm a poser, carry on.

chain stays are shorter on the 11 versions, which means slightly quicker acceleration. Other than that, they are pretty much the same with the increased st angle and decreased ht angle.
They should feel about the same.
carleton probably won't have much to say as he doesn't buy into that "hyped up MASH stuff".

The rear triangle and bb seem to have changed more than just a little bit, but hell idk
Edit: beat me to it kinda

Good point, the bb is now higher, which makes for better clearance. The st length remains the same....?
Weird

Thank you guys for assuming I can't do subtraction ;)
I guess the difference of only a cm isn't going to do much. Judging by the geo the 2010 is already a bit more aggressive than my Team Track (chain stays are 38mm shorter, wheel base is shorter by 9mm, seat tube is 1.5 dg steeper, etc.). Going from a 50mm bb drop to 58mm, will 8 mm really make any notable difference in pedal clearance when cornering?

It depends how tight you corner, if you corner like you're racing a crit, then you'll hit the ground.

I just spent a minute messing around with a pen and Pythagoras trying to figure out the relationship between BB drop and the angle a bike can lean before pedal strike.
Then I remembered I suck at math.
Anyway I took my crank and put it at 6pm, then leaned the bike until my pedal touched the ground, then lifted it so the pedal was 1cm off the ground.
Both of these things put the bike nearly on its side. I'm not concerned anymore.

you could probably go mess around with bikecad if you wanna put in all the measurements its rather easy to use

2011 has the handlebars 8mm lower and 10mm closer.

how the hell did you figure that out?

the 2010 has 15mm less street cred than the 2011... if thats important to you.

I thought that was more like 30ish^

street cred..... You can't get any street cred for mash anymore.

I'm pretty sure I own one of about 4 fixed gears in a 45-mile radius, I'm not too worried about street cred.

Well then can you also educate me about bottom brackets?
Is Italian vs. English my only concern? Will my Dura-Ace BB be a straight transfer to the MASH?

The MASH has English threads, your bb will go on just fine.

Yes, Squirreli knows Wise he is. <in my best yoda voice>
The BB is higher which allows them to make the chainstay shorter. Also makes for a slightly stiffer rear triangle - all other things being equal. I wouldn't kick a MASH out of my bed for eating Oreos.
