Classic & Vintage - Tim Johnson with Dura Ace

Here is my latest bicycle.
The original owner told me it was made by Tim Johnson in Vancouver, BC.
This bicycle features Dura Ace 7 speed and a Campagnolo crankset.
The cranks appear to be engraved with a signature, Tullio Campagnolo.
They also have a 50th anniversary stamp on them. I'm curious about their value.

I will post more pictures if anyone can provide me with more information about the frame or components.

Here are some more details.
The frame has a dark green paint. Internally routed brake cable.
Vertical dropouts are tapered. Cinelli BB shell serial number 10337.
Fastback seat cluster with "J" cutout in lug.

The whole bike weighs about 20lbs, I suspect butted tubing but I'm not certain.197696197697

Kurt - when did he ever ask what it was worth?

I did ask about the value of the crankset. The actual value is not important to me because I'm keeping the bike.
I'm more interested in the rarity. I did a couple quick google and ebay searches and found nothing.
My primary question would have to be regarding the tubing type. Any guesses?

those cranks could go easily for over $180, at least here on the continent, on eBay with all those maniacs that pay close to a 1000 for a pair of Delta's probably more.

Congrats with your find, it looks great! maybe you could try to contact the builder if he's still around?

Maybe it was a personal bike of the famous US CX racer Tim Johnson. Maybe he built up the bike and not build the frame? Nice looking bike though. It'd be a keeper in my book.

I am in Vancouver and this is the first Tim Johnson I have ever heard about or seen. I will ask around.

Thanks a lot everyone. While searching I did notice the existence of a professional racer named Tim Johnson. I'm not sure if there is any connection there or not. I think the Cinelli BB serial number could be a key in identification. Does anyone know of any databases?

The frame has somewhat unusual geometry. The TT is 53 C-C. The ST is 52 C-C. The very short wheelbase (97cm) makes me think it was designed as a crit racer.
