I have a Rockshox Pilot AIR XC on my new NRS 3

I have a tiny leak where I can see the air bubble through near the top of the shock.

I took it back to the store, and they replaced and o-ring. I took it for a test spin and saw a little bit of air bubble out. I took it back in to the store & it had stopped, I couldn't make it do it again. I chaulked it up to possibly a little bit of air burping out from the slight motion of the new o-ring finding its position and left.

Well I've been home and it its unmistakable still leaking. In fact its easy to get the air to bubble up. Of course it couldn't have done it at the store.

Anyway, its and extremely slow leak. The bubbles are smaller than a head of a pin and it takes days for the air to leak down.

Just so I'm smarter when I talk it back, can someone explain what may be defectiving and giving me the leak?

Here's a picture where I try to pinpoint the location of the leaking. It is actually several spots around that 'step'.

Well the bike shop seems to approached this repair correctly. All that is there is a cap with an o-ring as a seal. All you need to do is grease the o-ring and torque them to about 40 in pounds. How much pressure are you putting in? a low pressure system like this is typically 5-20 psi.

If all else fails, Rockshox will rebuild your fork, but be prepared for 3 to 4 weeks of downtime.
