Hi,
I was hoping you might be able to help me figure out which model Schwinn I just picked up today. It is quite heavy compared to the World Voyageur you helped me ID but also has a kickstand, metal pedals, and the extra ring around the front sprockets. From what I've gathered from the web it is a 1983 model made in Taiwan by Giant.

The serial # is on one side of the dropout and is G0183 and the other # imprinted on the other dropout is 3024403. On the head badge it says Schwinn at the top and Chicago on the bottom and under Chicago is the # 60639 and on the right the # is 0263 (same as the white Schwinn App Giant # sticker on the dropout).
I have uploaded pictures to an album here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26102959@N08/sets/72157626388693489/
The extra brake lever things were removed by the previous owner but I have them. The saddle has a plate that is riveted on and says "Schwinn approved". The metal pedals are Giant.
Thanks again!
