I bought a box of "bike parts" at a yard sale last weekend, and included in the box were some Campagnolo bits. They are not marked with any model #s or names, and I was wondering how to identify them. Based on the other stuff I bought, and the searching that I have done so far, I'm guessing they are from the 80's? Can anyone help me out?
Thanks

Beautiful Superleggerra pedals with desirable Binda Extra straps. Nummy. One Super Record lever with throwaway Modolo hood. I'm not sharp enough to pick out which shifters you have.

Damn, you hit the jackpot. Super record pedals and brake levers, worth at least 150€ a set. The friction levers are generic but probably from the same group. Congratulations!

Is the body of the brake lever silver or black? If silver, it is first gen. Valuable stuff.

thanks for the quick replies. There are actually a pair of the levers, I just photographed one. The body is black. There was also a pair of new Campagnolo hoods in the box to go with them.
I was very happy to find this stuff.
I also got 1985 and 1987 coors classic shirts, an old jersey, some vintage Patagonia capilene, a coleman campstove and a 1980 Nishiki International in beautiful condition.
It was a great sale!
Thanks again for the help.

I only find garage sales where they have a thrashed old low end mtb and are asking $150.

All part of an early '80s Record group, the brake levers being the Super variety. The SL pedals were usually part of a Super Record group, but not actually Super Record pedals, which have the Ti spindles. Shifters are the Super/Nuovo Record type of the late '70s- on. Good stuff; the best part is the Binda Extra straps!

Score. I'll take any of your g-sale finds off your hands. Sounds like you did well. Now pics of the Nishiki. :D

Sorry for the late response to the photo requests. Photos are of the bike as I found it, I didn't even have a chance to dust it off.
I went for a quick spin on it after work today, it was very nice. I haven't owned a road bike since I sold my Trek 600 back in 1988. I'm totally stoked!
