Anyone have some info on how wide a tire could be run on the rear of the later 90's Cannondale R1000? Any chance a 32 would work?

Thanks.

your sort of in the wrong forum, hopefully one of the moderators will move it shortly. as for the tire... you may have to experiment but I would doubt you can use something that big.

R1000 begins in the early 90's, not late 80's. Either way, unlikely you will be able to fit anything larger than a 25 on there- interference at the bottom of the fork craon and also at the FD mount and bridge.
