Temps got up to 105* when we rode in Big Bend.

Back after 7 days on the road.
Rode the first 4 days then developed a saddle sore.
Sagged the last 3 days.

We had 2 touring bikes, 1 recumbent, 2 trikes, and a van for the camping gear.
I did it for the fun and to support Roy.
I had a good time.

Saddle sores. Bummer Hee Hee Any who! I started using a shammy (sp) ( leather used to wash cars with) .
I safety pinned it to the back of my shirt. and used copious amounts of Lanacane anti-chafe cream.
It works well on the trainer but have not tried it on anything longer than 30 miles on the road.
Areo tech has some long distance shorts now

BTW i am getting a Motobecane Gran Turismo.

This is really neat. I am somewhat new to bicycling and ride a Long Wheel Base Recumbent. Is that what I see in the first picture third rider? If so was he able to keep up with the others? Just trying to gage my own capabilities with other bikers.

Yep, the rider is 69 years and can hold 17 mph.
July 10 next month she and her husband are leaving on a tour from Baytown Texas to Lansing Michigan.

Sorry to hear you got saddle sores. Good to hear that no break downs occurred.

Dave had hand surgery. Roy rides toe clips with straps.
2 riders left after 3 days
3 of us stayed for 7 days.
Roy is returning tonight

I wish I could have made it, but my elbows are giving me a lot of problems.

We all have some kind of problem. Roy never complaints about his.
