Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I didn't drive all winter, haven't really driven the van at all, 'cept some really nasty weather, but the brakes went out and I quit driving all together. Rather than new tabs and another month's insurance on something I can't use, I junked it. Now I have some extra cash for my bike tour this summer.
I'll see how long this lasts.
You'll probably be in better shape for that bike tour if you've been riding every day. Where are you planning to go?

I applaud you! Fantastic! What an excellent step to take for simplifying your life, saving money, helping your health, helping the environment, working for social/economic justice, etc. I hope you stick with it.
I am car-free, and have been since February 2010 (but I stopped driving altogether on Jan 3, 2010). I intend to never own or drive another car again for the rest of my life.
You did it the right way; it's good to cut back a bit and get a good taste for it before finality hits. It's really not so bad, certainly not for me. Some logistical considerations come into play, but by and large, I find it simple (but I also live in a city).
I haven't missed driving at all. Hopefully you'll find this step very liberating and satisfying also! Congrats.
