Hey everyone! I really don't know much about the price of bikes, but am looking to get a hybrid for road/bike path riding.
Was hoping to get your input on the bike at this link:
http://sarasota.craigslist.org/bik/2340989812.html

I am open to suggestions (brand, model number) for getting a reasonably priced bike in the hybrid category.

Thanks, your assistance is much appreciated!:thumb:

Heck no. $340 for an 8-year-old bike from 2003 that retailed for $440 when it was new is not a good deal at all.

This is the bike from that Craigslist ad: http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2003&Brand=Trek&Model=Navigator+300&Type=bike

I wouldn't pay more than $150 for that bike.

$400 will get you a new Trek.

Yeah $340 for a used bike is absurd.
Between $100 and $200 seems reasonable.
