Hi cyclists,
I will be attaching a flap to my front stainless fender and would like to hear how others have done it. I'm thinking about sex bolts with locktite. I haven't sourced any stainless metric sex bolts yet and a recommendation is appreciated. Zip ties are not an option.

'Sex bolts'? Do they get a nut?

Okay, how about drilling 1/8" holes and using aluminum 'Pop' rivets?

Pop-rivets.. but you have to buy the tool..
otherwise , small metric bolts and nylock nuts ,
and washers, and as some favor, a washer of leather in contact with the metal of the fender
will do the job just fine..

poprivets may need a back up washer,
as the thin metal may not be long-lasting around the rivet, without it.
