So apparently aheadset's zerostack headset didn't fit on my 727tr headtube . The thing looked like it fit , but it wasn't going down all the way . Here's the specs of the aheadsets's Zerostack Headset:
(link:http://www.aheadset.com/bicycle-headsets?p=ZS)
____________
size 1 1/8"
material Steel
race 30.0mm
cup 44.0mm
bearing 5/32 Ball
top stack height 10mm
bottom stack height 4.5mm

So to my understanding another website is stating that FSA's ZS3 headset is the only headset that will suite the 725/727tr frames. Here is it's specs:
(link:http://www.iminusd.bigcartel.com/product/fsa-carbon-zs3-headset)
____________
TH brand 36/45 degree Micro Angular Contact Bearings (blue seal)
7075 aluminum crown race
Laser etched FSA aluminum top cap
Stack Height* - 9.8 + 3.3 = 13.1mm
Black anodized finish
Weight - 80 grams (1 1/8")

Now can anybody help me ? I just wanna start ridinggggg . Thanks !

You need a headset press to install a headset.....

The Aheadset ZS cups are too deep and will bottom out before becoming flush. You need to use an FSA ZS3 or something with shallower cups. Leader recommends that particular headset for a reason.

Besides, the Aheadset is junk.

do all headsets need a press ? i was able to pop on/off my roadie's one with ease . Is there anything similar to the specs on the FSA ZS3 ? (i need to save $$)

This is what I used >>> http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=29015&category=724 It may be a bit cheaper than the FSA.

Ideally... especially with sealed headsets in this case, where you risk ruining the bearings if using other unconventional means...

Stack height is by personal preference; although having it too high and slammed (virtually no stack, just stem) is looked down upon.

The 727 and 725 are siblings minus cosmetics.

oh well i meant to say where the 'internal bearing falls into' that depth is both the 725/727 have the same depth ?

minus cosmetics you said they are same geometry ?
