I'm leaving from my abode in OC to come up to Napa to do the Tour de Cure for diabetes. Well, and probably quite a bit of vino as well.
I'll be doing the 80 mile ride on Sunday - most I've ever done before is 65.

I also typically spend some time riding along the river and Kennedy Park areas on the other evenings I am there. (Fri, Sat, Mon)
We stay at the south end of Napa itself, so that's where I end up riding.

Wave if you happen to see me (like you'd be able to tell!)

So, the ride went well. I did the 80 miler (77.4 or so) in 5:34 for a 13.8 avg
Weater was very warm and winds were not at all a factor like they usually are.
Just north of Calistoga, a CHP moto cop pulled over two women just after they passed me. I talked to one of the women later and they were warned for impeding traffic.
Of course, they passed slower traffic (me) and the only traffic at the time was cyclists.
