Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm Newbie and know I might be in the wrong place, but wondering where all the talk about Trail, Head Angle, Offset/Rake, and Flop takes place?
I'm interested in the theory of these various dimensions; ie I enjoy MORE talk about Trail, for example, than, "I prefer longer Trail dimensions when I do this because"..... I want to talk about the actual figures they're using and why; not just "shorter" or "longer".
I'm not against practical answers and people, it's just that I enjoy the theoretical part, too.
thx,
Euphie : )

Thank you; that looks inviting; And I apologize to Julia who had previously responded to the same question in another area but I missed the response because I don't know how to get a notice in my email that a response has been posted.......... is it possible? is it in my profile? I must be missing it, or it doesn't exist?
thx,
Euphie : )

Thanks, it appears that I'm subscribed to what I want, but I found no place for "instant notification" of a new post............ only "weekly notifications".......
Am I still missing it?
thx,
