Looking around for a road bike in my size to, well, ride on the roads with, very cheap. I saw an ad for a "Superbe" and was curious and asked seller for a pic, but seeing the pic I realise is not any of the good superbes, It is low end end but any idea what it could be? I see a logo on the seat tube but no idea what it is.

Since it is lugged does that mean it is likely decent steel or did they lug gas pipe as well?

Looks like a downscale version of a mid-80s Schwinn Sprint.

Anyone know if it is high-ten or cro mo? It's super cheaply priced but kind of far away, don't want to drive to get a boat anchor!

Hi-ten/one piece crank-dept store bike. HEAVY. May be a huffy.

And that's sugar-coating it.

Thanks, that's what I figured. However we don't even get Huffys in Canada much... least in my area. It's probably a Supercycle or something. The only luck I have had (in regards to road bikes) is with nice older Apollos but so far nothing in my size.
