Hey Guys, My Shifter cable has like unravled and it looks like somethings wrong. Before it gets to the shifter itself(the rear derailuer) it is like all weird. Should I get new cable? This looks really weird and I can't take any pictures. Please make suggestions. Thanks for any help.

Get a new cable. The $11 you have should just cover it + install.

I have a better idea... sell your bike and buy some shoes or something... seriously. You've got about 9 posts about things that are wrong with your bike. Sounds to me like you can't keep your bike in one piece to save your life.

Its all that extra lite weight stuff to make it a 10lb bike. You need to buy a new deraileur.....

Is it the loose end? If you don't have a cable condomn on it, it'll unravell. No biggie. You can sometimes just twist it back into shape. Then you need to go and get a cable end that crimps on the loose end to keep this from happening.

Most shops will just give you a couple!
