My name is Jim, and I just joined-up (Duh!). There were too many "Jim's" here, so the moniker is recycled from one I used to use on an audio site, and is based on a refrigeration term I use every day.
I used to be an avid cycler "back in the day", but my when my Super LeTour was stolen in college I kinda gave it up. Fast forward 25 years, and here I am- just getting back into cycling.
Right now all I have is a Specialized Crosstrail (hybrid), but I've gotten to the point where I ride about 100 miles/week (paved trails, alone and with groups), and I'm getting tired of that heavy thing. I'm giving serious consideration into moving up and buying a carbon road bike, so for the time being I'll just read, learn, and try to not to ask overly stupid questions!
See you on the road!
