Title almost sez it all.

This is going on a 2010 Trek MT220 girls - there's no obvious place on the frame to bolt on a cage so I'm interested in suggestions. Would also like to see some pics to ensure I'm adding a safe solution.

Why not a cup holder on the handlebars?

Thought about it - but she's really trying to emulate her older sister's bike features - at least until she grows out of this current bike.

No location given, but if you are USA, Walmart has a Bell brand cage with
holder for under ten dollars. I used one on an old MTB for a long time,
no problems at all.

That seems like a decent position - but I don't think I'll be adding Mace onto her handlebars.... ;)

Went with the Avenir handlebar mount solution from LBS. So far so good
