Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Ok, so I was flipping around the Giant Website, and they have a new line of TCR composites "the fall lineup" for 2004, I was totally intent on waiting a few more months for 2004 TCR 2 prices to start falling, but with this new composite 3, I think I'm going to like the price. That said, any one have any information on pricing? If this bike is anywhere near 1500, then I'm buying it =P
And if its not, then the TCR alloy and the Specialized allez elite are my top picks. Reccommend one of them to me! :p

While I m not sure what the TCR 3 is going to run i would guess it to be in the 1299.99-1599.95 range as the '04 TCR 2 was around 17-18 retail. Please note i said retail i did NOT pay that much for my TCR 2 but the sticker said 1899.99. Also I wouldnt hold your breath on finding a TCR 2 "on the cheap" my LBS was sold out of them in June, I bought the last one (evil laugh) they ordered more and Giant never filled it, they said just to wait for the '05 models to come out. Maybe you ll get lucky and happen upon one at an LBS, but its pretty unlikely at this point. Plus even if it is last years model, they dont just drop the price to the floor a business still has X amount of dollars they put into that bike the year before and more importantly the COST of that bike does not go down just because a new model is out. I am a member of the "other" bike forum online, roadbikereview.com, or simply rbr, I would suggest you go to the classifieds on the site and look at the TCR's are there your a more likely to get a deal on there then anywhere else. Good luck and I hope you find what your looking for.

The tcr 3 is going to run for $1600. I'm going to buy the TCR 2 which is $2000. I've been talking to all the dealers about these bikes. I looked at the giant price listing sheet.

I've got a 2004 TCR 1 (alloy) and am very happy with it. It's light, it's fast, and I've been able to configure it to be very comefortable to ride. The compact frame design doesn't bother me at all, I actually like it more then my old traditional framed bike.
I'm paranoid that the low spoke count light wheels will implode, but so far so good.
Anything specific you'd like to know?
