Nice place, reminds me of Castlewood Canyon a little.
I think I recognize that two-peak hill (a landmark on the way to Larkspur), if not it's very similar.

That's the one.
A few years ago, I was doing the Elephant Rock the first (and only) time and was riding behind another guy - who turned at Spruce Mountain Road - assuming he knew what he was doing, because I didn't, and I ended up in Larkspur, not Castle Rock. He was meeting his wife somewhere, so I decided likewise and called the rescue wagon. I only got a metric century that day.
